i have grrrrrreat (in Tony the Tiger slang) news! i made 2 perfect round pancakes this morning. really, look! actually before that i called awin up to ask whether i was supposed to use oil or butter in the frying pan. cos i'm bimbotic like that sometimes. she suggested i add milk to it also to make it even better and i was like, i'll graduate to adding milk when i've successfully made simple, milk-less pancakes. and i have, yippedeedooda! on to another grrrrreat news.. oh by the way, transamerica is open in cinemas already and i wanna watch. anybody with me? 
yes one might be slightly burnt but they're hell of a lot better than this: 
that was how the pancakes i made looked like a year back. vast improvement, no? the second one looks like a plate of brown and yellow playdoh doesn't it. i'm so happy i finally made nice pancakes. i'm not that hopeless in the kitchen yo. 
the little mak nenek has grown a year older and we will all look forward to more of her dancing shamelessly to hindi songs, her misplacing a lot of stuff ( i found my missing phone in her mum's handbag which she was parading around with the living room) and also more of her asking for my food when i'm eating my meals. my my, amira sufya will grow up into a little terror but it's all good cos at least she still looks endearingly cute while at it.
