not for narrow minds
so we finally watched brokeback mountain. and it wasn't a disappointment. although some scenes were, erm shocking, they were tastefully shot and not at all sleazy . it was very poignant, very moving at times. at the end of the day, it's really a simple love story. which just happened to evolve around 2 cowboys instead of the usual boy-girl. set against a conservative society and familial obligations, their suppressed and immense love for each other can touch the coldest of hearts. the part when jack said "i wish i knew how to quit you", touching okay. i teared ( i didn't cry ley!).
so yes, i would recommend this movie. although most guys i talked to had the same reaction when i mentioned i watched it, "ewww". i understand why they would say that tho, haha. but seriously go watch it. when it comes to those scenes cover your eyes la. and, erm your ears *_*
