i'm sold
[ soundcheck : goodbye my lover - james blunt ]
the gas stove isn't working. cos apparently there's a gas leak and we'll be getting a new one soon. in the meantime, what did one do when no cooking can be done in the kitchen, the mother isn't home and one was fucking starving? one tried out the new mcdonald's delivery service.
and i am very impressed. kelvin, the bored-sounding but polite guy on the line said it would take an hour. my mcspicy double arrived at my doorstep in half an hour. excellent! the food came with a cd you know. ALL MALE HITS. good charlotte, rooster, switchfoot, john legend and guy sebastian. not very excited at the prospect of listening to it. except for john legend's 'it don't have to change'.
i've got 'the man who sold the world' stuck. i've got 4 different versions of the song : nirvana, david bowie, jordis (rockstar : inxs) and nine inch nails live with david bowie. there's just something about that song, something so sad and inexplicable. i know i'm a bit late in digging into this song now but hey, great songs transcends beyond years.
