eh. i woke up at 7 am seh this morning. yes seven fucking am. why? because my family had to be at the mosque for the national day celebrations. why? because my family was picked to lead everyone during pledge taking. why? because my family apparently is one of few around which consists of 3 generations (which is funny cos i see a lot of neneks and datuks with their grandchildren just now). but it was fun.
i freaked out a little cos it's been a long time, six bloody years in fact, since i recited the pledge and sang the national anthem. but i didnt forget after all.
and again i miss school and crescent. how we girls tried desperately hard not to laugh when something's funny going on during our school song. when we see somebody's shoulders shaking uncontrollably and we know she's having laughing fits and then the rest started joining in cos it's just that infectious. sigh.
best part of the celebrations was when the school kids started dancing and singing to national day songs. so kekek. cos they were so cute. so enthu. geylang si paku geylang.. GEYLANG!!
oh by the way i added new songs to the radioblog. lots of rock in there. nirvana, marilyn manson, melissa etheridge and the likes. enjoy. but not too much cos erm, skali bandwidth usage over the limit. heh.
