saturday i went to a mother's day high tea organised by warna at the sheraton. turns out that one of my cousins who just got engaged got my aunties tix to thank them for helping out during the engagement ceremony so my mum dragged me along. banyak siak hasil. anyhoos. jay jay and aishah performed. very old skool hor haha. but when jay jay sang belaian jiwa and rindu bayangan can melt seh. and the whole room of makciks sang along with him! macam secondary school choir. he only performed with his guitar so it was very intimate. the MCs were adi rahman, syah ibrahim and RZ. so hilarious. have such a crush on adi rahman. he's sooo tall and so funny. now i know why my mum and a lot of makcik2 like him.
i thought the high tea was the one which anuar zain and hazrul nizam was gonna perform but that one was on sunday instead. damn. if i saw anuar zain sing live, agaknye i would have melutut kat kaki dia refusing to let go. lol. i very love his voice.
got my mum this very the nice pantsuit from marie veton while i was out with awin in friday. it was on sale so it was affordable. this year the family didnt go out for mother's day dinner or anything. was quite disappointed. guess everyone else had other stuff to do.
