i think nelly furtado is one of those people who tries hard to be sexy. really hard. like jewel. remember her in that 'intuition' video. showing off her very impressive chest. good news for the guys but what the hell did that say about her musical direction. as far as i was concerned, at that point, jewel sold out.
so back to miss furtado. i used to like her. 'on the radio'. 'turn off the lights'. 'try'. great stuff. and then she comes out with this. this 'promiscuous' song. with TIMBALAND. dancing and gyrating. and then the 'maneater' video. dancing and gyrating. and pouting. and lifting up her top. it's so unsexy how she's trying to be sexy. tak menjadik, i feel.
by the way, props to paris hilton. 'stars are blind' has lodged itself into my conscience.
