csi new york will start today. am feeling quite excited because of the extensive promotion it was given on axn. what with 'let's get it started' playing in the background and all. it's almost quite festive. looking forward.
i have to say i'm prone to bouts of melancholy more than ever now. sometimes i just lie in bed listening to songs like obsession by frankie j or any song by stevie wonder and i get so reflective. lamenting on my current state of mind. often i find myself exhausted, just thinking about everything. sometimes my heart feels so heavy, so overly-laden with emotions i wish i didnt even have a heart. like the Tinman in wizard of oz. so free of heartache. yeah, you wouldnt be able to feel anything but in times like these that sounds tempting. everything would be rational and mechanical. evrything would be ruled by the brain. then there'll be no more heartache, no more emotional fits and no more pent-up frustrations.
no more doubts. no more uncertainties.
reading posh spice's autobiography. so far it's been an entertaining read. i'm not one to read dan brown's stuff so fluffy romance novels and autobiographies are the way to go for me. but i will read angel and demons one day. and that da vinci code. yes, one day i will be all intellectual and temporarily stop reading books with titles such as 'the heartbreaker' or 'sisteria' or 'it means mischief'.
but take away my nancy drews and i will have to kill you.
i'm longing to watch a horror movie at the cinema. WILL SOMEBODY ASK ME OUT TO WATCH SAMARA? ANYBODY? speaking of movies, it is indeed fucking ridiculous that movie tickets will cost up to $9.50 soon. but cathay cinemas are excluded i think. but neverthefuckingless, it is ridiculous. why cant the prices stop at 6 or 7 bucks. what is so wrong about that. kanninababihutan. almost 10 bucks for 1 bloody movie.
