phoney, you think?
just got back from a job interview at turf city. yes, turf city. but it's for a private school called boston international. very short interview. 10 minutes. i dont know why but i've a feeling it's not quite what it's made out to be. i dont know.
i have first-hand experience in phoney companies when i was 16, just before starting poly. i dont like to talk about it. just gonna say people got conned in that company. made the newspapers some more.
so when the arun guy started saying that he's gonna call me back for a seminar (so that we'll know more about or job and products) alarm bells rang in my head. he also said my salary expectations were too little and added that the norm would be 3k to3.5k. h-ullo? three freakin thousand? manyak oiii.
i dont wanna be stupid and naive anymore. but i also dont wanna let go of something that would turn out to be an incredible job opportunity for me. so. i still dont know. should i go for the seminar or not.
i checked the moe website and the school is indeed registered. also checked their own website and it seems like a reputable school. so maybe i will go.
but 3 fucken thousand?? COME ON!
