and so we won it

great atmosphere at the stadium. full house. and an even greater achievement for the lions. i was proud to be there, to be part of the celebrations. but somehow i cant help that niggling feeling that it was quite an uneventful match. nothing compared to that infamous myanmar one.

BUT when it comes down to it, we've won it nonetheless. and what better way than for them to do it on homeground, right in front of their own fans. i was proud to be on their side last night and be damned to those who say 'i couldnt give a shit'! came across a guy's blog and he said:

'Damn i forgot when was the last time i actually kicked arnd a ball and said to myself how the guys i play with can win the Tiger Cup without batting an eyelid... oh and while im on the topic, winning the Tiger Cup dun mean shit so dun go arnd thinking ima feel proud of u guys... i'd rather play 7th choice keeper for Uganda then for the national team... go smoke yourselves...'

i think he's kidding himself.

i vote baihakki khaizan to be my favourite lion. not because he played exceptionally well (actually he did but anyways) but because he looked exceptionally good. oh yes, as some of you might know eli like the skinny skinny macam drug addict type of body for a guy. i loiiiiike!

before the kallang waves and such
and off they go
hell yeah we did it!
