have u ever read nancy drew books? i just love her stories! she was the coolest person i knew of last time... but of cos when i think back, she's not really that cool. back then, i looked forward to reading her books. which was written by carolyn keene anyways. in case you dont know, nancy drew is an 18-yr old detective who's super smart and lives with her dad (Carson Drew) and housekeeper Hannah Gruen. her mum died when she was 3 so she's very close to the two. every book tells of how she solves a mystery and it was always thrilling for me to read. seriously! becos of her, i wanted to be private a detective too! she doesnt go to school and has a cute boyfriend called ned nickerson and 2 best frens bess n george. when i read her stories, i always get sucked into her world too. seems so real. actually i still like reading nancy drew. but can't find the time nowadays.
there's another series of nancy drews when she's in college n it's more modern n stuff. about how she's taking her degree in journalism all. but at the same time she still solves mysteries haha. cool rite? i was so bummed when there was a tv version of that series shown in the U.S but of cos, not here. damn.
* sigh* must read her books again one of these days. shall go to second-hand bookstore n buy more...
