DID YOU KNOW yday i punched in my card at work at 8:41 a.m??? terrible rite? i tell u what happened. so i woke up as usual. raining so darn heavily so decided to take cab. no biggie. started waiting for cab at 7:30. OHMYGOD BIGGGGGGGGGGGGGG MISTAKE!! i'm telling u, we have the worst can system here. first of, somehow no cabs seem to empty and ALL seem to be on call or busy. secondly, those empty and NOT oncall or busy did not stop. and there was this one empty cab which passed me twice without stopping! can u believe that. plus there were other people waiting also. so damn frustrating. i felt like crying cos i hate this type of situation. the feeling of dejection and helplessness. it was too late to take train of course. in the end, i got a cab at 8:20! almost an hour of waiting. and it wasnt even becos it stopped for me. some ns guy was alighting right where i was waiting.
but u know what? my boss didnt scold me. cos i called her first to tell her i'd be late. lucky she understood. that was such a bad start to a working day. i used to think that if your day starts out bad, the rest of the day would be the same. but that's not really true. your day can have a dream start but u can be brought down to earth just like that (*eli snaps her fingers*) when something goes wrong.
my hands are itchy. i dont really know why. i think becos sometimes when i feed i wear gloves right, and then if my hands get sweaty and moist they feel really eeky. then they start to itch like right now. and it feels so good to scratch.
