so many facets, so little time

what a life well spent. what good times we've had. and in what a sad fashion you had to go in. told off by the netball umpire because you weren't allowed on my wrist? and forced apart cos there was no way you were getting off my slender wrist otherwise? it's a shame. it's a fucking, crying shame!

but nonetheless, we will not grieve for you in death. instead we will celebrate your life. for 4 long glorious years how well-lived those years were. how you've stood (or hung) by me.

you will be sorely missed by me. in future, a very distant future, when i get married or have my own children or move into my own house or get a job finally, i will be thinking of you. and how you'd have loved to be a part of all these.

may you now be in a better place, called the bracelets wrist carlton heaven or something. where you are in excellent conditions. preferably on a thicker red string. and where you mix with the tiffanys and cartiers and okay, maybe perlinis. doesnt matter that you're actually in the coin compartment of my wallet right now.

p.s. in case you people i'm wondering, i'm seriously seriously in grief. my wrist feels so empty. it takes a lot of getting used to. please allow me some time to indulge in my misery.
