projekt decoding da vinci

i am finally reading da vinci code and i must MUST say i cannot put the book down. i am enthralled and i am extremely fascinated. the hoo-ha and publicity were not uncalled for. it's a must read la basically. i'm halfway thru and cannot wait to read the next page as i go along. dan brown's a genius. i cannot imagine the extensive amount of research he had to go thru in order to put the book together. all hail mr brown.

and i'm getting more annoyed with paula, progressively so each week. she is fake and her smiles come off as insincere even tho she's not. her mountain-high compliments are starting to get on my nerves. so are her clappings and her incessant dancing and her constant interruptions when simon's talking and her egging on the crowd to boo simon. give it a break, paula. take a chill pill, will ya. ok that 'chill pill' is so 80s but then again it's so apt cos that's where paula belongs.

constantine looked really good this week. his hair had a healthy sheen and looked like he actually combed it. but he still has a double chin. carrie's hair... well what can we say about carrie's hair. it was huge and it was horrifying. shudder shudder. it still came as a surprise that anwar was voted out even tho it wasnt totally unexpected. i think whatever personality he had, it didnt shine thru enough for the american voters. too bad. we all know about about his much-lauded technical vocal superiority. but a really good voice can only take you so far. while an agonisingly okay voice, boring personality and a childhood sob story (calling anthony fedorov) can catapult you into the top 6. craziness.

at midnight last night i heard coldplay's new single 'speed of sound' on perfect 10, first time ever on air and SHIT, THE SONG WAS FAB! just when you thought coldplay cannot get any better. actually i heard snippets of it in an mtv commercial where they were having a contest to send someone to see coldplay in the UK or something. and the band was playing the chorus in a hotel room. got see or not? anyways. yeah. the song's fab. coldplay's fab. everything's fab. fab fab fab.

and you know what else's fab? kylie minogue's coming in june for a gig! and i'm sooo in the mood to boogie woogie to her songs. i heard it's an outdoor concert with a really huge stage. eli the gig freak really really wants to go.

i think someone should invent an actual money tree right about now.
