i'm aching.. so badly
eventful past 2 days.
thursday. eli played captain's ball, part of masjid darussalam's muharram celebrations. ok stop laughing. my sisters dragged me in to play in their team, against 3 other teams from bukit batok. so you have me, covered from head to toe, and then you see my nails are polished black. what a weird sight it must have been for others. it was scorching hot. my face was burnt and my body aches.
got home just in time to watch anugerah juara lagu. when misha omar sang her hantu song my hair stood on ends. and farena dear, ella does look like you. uncanny gituk. i so love the winning song relaku pujuk by spider. the title sounds so kampung and so new boyz-ish but it's a really good song. zuher described it as deliciously old school and i had to agree.
whole family ate the satay amal from the mosque, then we ordered canadian pizza. just before maghrib we all went to my aunt's place at jurong east to have a let's-all-ramai2-eat-together dinner. pelahap eh satu family.
yesterday went sentosa with the girls to suntan. scorching hot again but we wouldnt be there if it wasnt. my front was more burnt than the back cos once i lay down i kinda drifted to sleep. didnt spend much time on my tummy. anyways.
a group of guys tried to pick us up. first one of them offered us some crackers which we took. then we asked for his help in taking a photo of us. he went off, came back and asked for our numbers. my best friends, my buddies were so helpful and pointed to me 'why dont you ask for her number since she's the only single one among us' THAAAAAANKS! with friends like these... eventually i told him to give his number instead and he agreed. so that was that.
took the monorail, went to musical fountain and ate andersen's ice cream. sedaaapp.
jila headed home after that. she was sick and felt feverish. awin and i went harbourfront. awin was nuts while we were at cold storage. seriously. she kept on blabbering on god-knows-what and was scarily but funnily freaky.
so that about wraps up my past 2 days. now i'm left with a body full of aches and sunburn.
oh couple of days ago i emailed class95 asking who sings this updated version of 'will you still love me tomorrow' and i got a reply from... MARK RICHMOND. i know it's lame but i was excited getting a personal reply from him. so not gonna delete it. oh the song is by amy winehouse. sedaaappp nyah..
