oiiiiii!
the collective sound heard thruout my neighbourhood when the power was cut last night. haha. it was so funny. in pitch darkness. me, my sis and bro-in-law lighted up 2 candles and used this torchlight thing. i dont know what to call it cos it's not shaped like a torchlight. but whatever.
but it kinda scared the shit out of me. cos it was a massive blackout, thruout the island and was thinking it was terrorist-related. so the 3 of us were busy filling up pails of water just in case. cooking water on the gas too. i was busy calling up and sms-ing friends if they too were in darkness. aboit 1045 pm power was restored and everybody in the neighbourhood went "woo-hoooooo..!!"
exciting times indeed. so now what's left are pails of water in the 2 loos and it remains to be seen what we're gonna use them for.
